Sustainable Belonging: Thriving Without Burning Out
Erika Shea, ACC

Join us on August 20 for our third DEIB Lunch and Learn session to equip coaches with tools to sustain resilience while engaging in emotionally complex and identity centered work. This session will include a 45-minute interactive presentation and a 15-minute facilitated dialogue. In this webinar, Erika guides coaches so they will:

  1. Recognize signs of burnout linked to emotional and identity labor.
  2. Strengthen reflective and self-regulation practices.
  3. Develop a personal sustainability plan that supports long term thriving.
CCEUs for this Program: 1.0 Core Competencies

Erika Shea is an ICF ACC-certified coach, facilitator, and systems thinker who helps working professionals who are carrying too much get other people to step up before they end up feeling like the bad guy. Her work focuses on the emotional and identity labor we take on when we're the default person for everything at home and at work. Erika brings a grounded, conversational style to her coaching, and she creates spaces where people feel supported and understood.

Her background in cross functional leadership, change management, and workshop facilitation shapes the way she blends practical tools with real empathy. She helps clients build boundaries that feel good instead of guilty and shift long standing patterns of over functioning.

Erika serves as the Membership Director for a nonprofit organization and leads a coaching practice centered on helping professionals lead without burning out. Sustainability and self reflection are at the heart of her work, and she believes resilience grows when we stop muscling through and start paying attention to what we need. She also serves as Vice President on the Board of Pride in Our Workplace, and created and leads DEIB Day for Leadership South Shore.
