As we prepare for
International Coaching Week, we are inviting you to join us for a meaningful and interactive experience focused on connection, empathy, and belonging.
Through this guided experience led by our DEIB Committee, participants discover the shared human experiences that unite us across backgrounds, identities, and professional roles. The activity creates moments of reflection and unexpected connection within the coaching community.
What to Expect
- An engaging and interactive belonging experience
- Reflection on shared human experiences
- Meaningful connection with fellow coaches
- Insight into creating belonging in professional spaces
- A practical activity that can be used with clients or coaching team
Why Should You Attend:
- You will experience a powerful shift in perspective. By stepping away from the "business" of coaching, you’ll engage in a moment of deep reflection that reframes how you view yourself and your place within our professional community.
- You will build genuine, meaningful connections. This session moves beyond small talk, giving you the space to reflect on your own journey while forming deeper, unexpected bonds with fellow coaches.
- You will sharpen your inclusive leadership skills. By engaging with our DEIB Committee’s unique approach, you’ll gain firsthand insight into how to cultivate a sense of belonging and empathy within your professional networks.
Program Outcomes:
- Foster Psychological Safety: We will demonstrate the ability to create a "brave space" by practicing vulnerability and non-judgment, essential for building trust in any professional coaching environment.
- Enhance Empathetic Presence: We will strengthen your ability to stay fully present and observant, learning to recognize and honor the subtle emotions and diverse perspectives that emerge during shared human experiences.
- Deepen Active Listening through a DEIB Lens: We will sharpen your capacity to listen for what is unsaid, gaining a more nuanced understanding of how identity and belonging influence a person’s story.
- Evoke Self-Awareness and Group Insight: We will practice using reflective inquiry to uncover new realizations about connection and bias, allowing you to bring a more conscious, inclusive mindset to your coaching relationships.
