Finding the Sacred Space in the Being and the Doing of Coaching: The Intersection of Mindset, Trust, and Presence
presented by Mina Brown, MCC, CTNC, BCC, MBA
Few professional coaches have the depth of executive leadership experience, masterful coaching reputation, professional credentials and positive impact that Mina Brown does. Mina, founder and president of Positive Coaching Solutions, has been an executive coach and career consultant for 25 years. In addition to providing executive coaching and leadership development programs, she also teaches in her own coach training school in Dallas. Her clients, from a broad spectrum of industries, describe her as “engaging, compassionate, challenging, inspirational and fun.” Before discovering her calling to coach, she was an aerospace executive and CFO in large publicly traded companies. Mina has co-authored five books about careers and coaching. She has an MBA from Vanderbilt and is a Master Certified Coach (MCC), Board Certified Coach (BCC), and Certified NeuroTransformational Coach (CTNC).
Program Description:
Would you agree that asking insightful and provocative questions that evoke awareness must come from great listening? So then, how can a coach be an exceptional listener without bringing their open coaching mindset, deeply respectful curiosity about the client, and wholly invested presence to every coaching conversation? These three competencies are so closely related, it’s hard to imagine being excellent at one and lacking in another. Cultivating trust, demonstrating coaching presence and embodying a coaching mindset are the responsibility of all coaches. And clients instinctively know when the coach brings these to the coaching relationship.
Program Outcomes:
In this interactive and engaging program, participants will explore what it means and what it feels like to be fully present and completely trusted. A source of true, transformative coaching mastery starts with the work we do inside ourselves to be the vessel for our clients’ vulnerability and self-discoveries. Participants will learn
A better understanding and appreciation for mindset, trust, and presence
The essence of holding this reverent space for their clients
The transformative energy that coaching can create
The freedom and effectiveness of really trusting clients
