Description of Presentation:

The business of coaching involves a great deal of our energy as coaches. To be a great coach doesn’t necessarily mean you are great at the business of coaching - but we are expected to be. The June program addresses ten components to the business of coaching in a personal way for each coach using the ChangeGrid™ and gives each attendee the opportunity to interact, share and learn about other attendees’ best practices using assigned Wisdom Circles. To get the most out of the program, register immediately and then complete the Business of Coaching survey, by going to Take Survey

Presented by Carl Nielson, Chief Discovery Officer of Success Discoveries (www.successdiscoveries.com), is also a management consultant and executive coach to Fortune 100 companies and small family owned businesses. His corporate clients include Medtronic, Match.com, Mission Foods, Cendant Corporation, PHH, Southern Painting, Aimsco and Trammell Crow. He also collaborates with other consultants and coaches. Carl has a degree in Organizational Psychology and has been an independent consultant and coach for the past ten years. He is a certified trainer of The Coaching Clinic, is a certified professional behavioral analyst, values analyst and TriMetrix analyst. His greatest challenge as a coach/consultant was after 9-11-2001 for about four years. He established the Success Discoveries brand in 2003 but didn’t find a viable business model until 2008. His revenue is now split approximately 50% consulting and 50% executive coaching. His primary marketing strategy has been client referrals, however, one of his larger clients heard him on a radio interview that happened because of another coach.
