Don’t miss this exceptional program by Steve Sosland and his team from UNT Health Science Center on the transformational imperative facing all organizations.  Organization leaders who are successfully navigating challenges like multigenerational teams, dynamic market forces and rapid technological advances are increasingly moving to establish a cultural foundation based on core values and coaching.  This program will allow participants to learn the critical elements of establishing a values-based coaching culture.
 
Our luncheon program will be an interactive session where all will participate in a moderated panel discussion, Q&A session with our expert team and experience a hands on exercise to achieve the following learning objectives:
 
  • Understand the importance of identifying organizational core values as the foundation of a coaching culture.
  • Learn how to identify common core values that exist in any organization.
  • Discuss how core values relate to a coaching culture.
  • Learn the burning platform that makes a coaching culture a transformational imperative for Good to Great companies.

Steve Sosland

Steve works to develop current and next generational leaders at all levels of organizations in a wide variety of industries including higher education, healthcare, engineering, oil & gas production, hotels & restaurants, recruiting and government. His responsibilities within the UNTHSC include development and implementation of a values-based culture that includes coaching for all faculty and staff team members; leadership development at all levels from aspiring leaders to senior executives; and succession planning to ensure a sustainable culture. As the Founder of the UNTHSC Leadership Institute, Steve works with leaders nationwide to create sustainable values-based cultures within their organizations.
 
 
Jonathan Silk
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER (UNTHSC) AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE UNTHSC LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE

Jonathan is an experienced leader and coach with a proven record of leading and developing others to perform at higher levels and improve their overall effectiveness. He has a passion for learning and developing others to improve as leaders. Jonathan brings lessons from over 25 years of experience leading in U.S. Army Infantry, Cavalry, and Armor units in a wide range of assignments, to include leading soldiers in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Korea. He is a decorated veteran and a recipient of the General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award. Jonathan served as a faculty member at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY before joining the UNTHSC team in 2015.
